Overview
Q.   What is ID Shield?
A.   ID Shield is a new security feature of U.S. Bank Internet Banking designed to help us recognize you and for you to recognize U.S. Bank. When you setup ID Shield, you will select and answer three (3) security questions that we may require you to answer when logging into Internet Banking. This helps us verify you. You will also select an ID Shield image and associate a word or phrase for this image that will be displayed every time you login to Internet Banking. When you see this ID Shield image and phrase, you know you are legitimately logging in to the U.S. Bank Web site and that it's safe to enter your Password and gain access to your accounts within Internet Banking.
